Our Club

A Wallsend Institution Since 1900.

Wallsend Social Club is a long-established private members' club in the heart of Wallsend, North Tyneside.

The club opened its doors in 1900 and has been part of Wallsend life ever since. Over more than a century it has seen generations of families through celebrations, quiet afternoons, big match days and long Saturday nights.

Today the club remains what it has always been: a comfortable, friendly place for local people. There is a bar and social room, snooker and darts, sport on the big screens and a steady calendar of live entertainment and community events.

Our function rooms are used for birthdays, celebrations, wakes, meetings and community groups — the everyday and the important occasions of local life.

New members are always welcome. Call in during opening hours, have a look around and see for yourself why the club has lasted this long.
